EMPOWERING TWEENS, one photo at a time
Self esteem can be developed or crushed in an instant, especially for the preteen (ages 10-12). I'm sure we all have stories from this age, and if you're a parent, I'm sure you struggle watching your preteen live through some stuff that you wish you could magically make better.
There's no easy solution to this. But I want to do what little I can with the tools and talents I have, to reach out and help make a positive impact wherever & whenever possible. Getting back to my roots (psychology, child development, art therapy and photography), I have started a unique photo project that I'd love for you to be a part of.
INTRODUCING THE "WHO I AM" PROJECT.
I'm making it my personal mission to capture photos of those preteen years. The goal is to help tweens look and feel beautiful (inside & out) and have unshakable confidence in themselves when they hit middle school.
NEW LOCATIONS + DATES UPON REQUEST
Portrait sessions last 30 minutes, and will take place at a local park, rain or shine. (Exact location to be shared with participants.)
Participants receive a FREE photo session ($99 value),
and $50 credit towards purchase of a collection.
That's $149 in value, for FREE.
(A $99 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your time slot, and will be applied to your purchase.)
NOTE: If for MULTIPLE kids, you can book one time slot and SHARE the time/experience, or book each kid INDIVIDUALLY to get their OWN experience.
It comes down to your preference and budget.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
After signing up, you'll receive questionnaires to SECRETLY pass out to family + friends. And you'll receive lots of tips on what your kid should wear + bring, and how to make this an AMAZING experience all the way through.
Then the 30-minute portrait session will take place, showcasing your kid's personality and what they love... in one outfit for a favorite look, and another outfit to show off a favorite hobby, sport, or something else that fills them with confidence.
Within 3 weeks after their session, you'll receive a link to view the finished photos and a VIDEO which combines a few photos with quotes pulled directly from the secret questionnaires.
Think about it... if someone surprised YOU with 15-20 positive quotes about yourself, how would you feel?
I bet it would be pretty dang AMAZING!

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey there... I'm Michelle, the one behind the camera.
Long story short: The camera has been an extension of my hand for most of my life, and I've been running The Suitcase Studio for nearly 10 years now... providing FUN + stress-free photo sessions for the quirky, authentic + AWESOME.
With my Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and a few years working in children's group homes, I've seen, first-hand, the HUGE difference that positive self-esteem can make in a child's life. And I want to do whatever I can with the tools I have, to make whatever difference I can. Funnily enough, I still use my psychology training and insight on each + every photo shoot... calming nerves, connecting on personal level, and showcasing true beauty... both inside AND out!
